Hi ,

I tried to install Wiced Smart Ide using WICED-Smart-SDK-2.2.1-IDE-Installer.bin it showed some error java is not present ..

Then i installed jave open jdk & i installed same it installed correctly but when i lauch WICED Smart IDE it shows Some Error & creates log file

I succesfully installed WICED Smart IDE.  also created peripheral device with some services.

But now i want to configure WICED smart TAG as a CENTRAL device..

And there is no example application i seen for CENTRAL DEVICE..

Can anybody please provide some example code & reference..

Did you get the error msg saying you need to "install a VM prior to running this program"?

Then you need to install Java SE from the below link:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

I have a 14.04 Ubuntu 32-bit machine and I managed to resolve the above issue, successfully installed WICED, launched and downloaded the hello_sensor app onto my tag3.
