Hi There,

We are developing a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) based on a Raspberry PI with Broadcom processor. The unit has a battery backup and we are looking for ways to reduce the power consumption to the absolute minimum in order for the battery to last as long as possible. We have come a long way but we want to improve battery life even further but run out of ideas on how to achieve that.

If there is anyone out there with experience in minimising the power consumption of a broadcom processor on a Raspberry PI board or if you know someone with such experience then we are keen to hear from you.

Cheers, Ad
