API to read JTAG ID?

Is there an API available to read the BCM20732/6/7 JTAG ID?

This would help customers identify which chip they have on their board during manufacturing test.

Our device does not have a JTAG ID. I will ask the developers if there is an alternate means to identify which chip is on the board during manufacture and test.
