Hi, REF-DAB11KIZSICSYS is a good reference design for compact charger for 750V LVDC distribution but its output voltage range is too narrow for a universal charger. Can you suggest the best possible way to extend output voltage range to cover wide output.

Hi,

200V is quite low, for this much voltage you may have to redesign your CLLC components to adjust the gain at particular frequency and at that voltage consider the load current you are expecting,

also you might have to look into losses consideration and how much power rating you are expecting , because at low voltage your current will increase which will cause the junction temperature of the mosfet of both sides to be increased, so in that case you might need a derating. that full load operation may not be possible at low voltage.

also since you are going to reduce the voltage, you may also need to check the maximum frequency requirement, and could it be possible by the existing controller and gate driver requirement and its circuit for eg Turn on resistor and turn off resistor of Mosfet gate both side.

Hi there,

Thanks for using the infineon community.

can you let us know what is the expected voltage range that you are looking for at the output ?

Thanks.

Sushank.

Hi Sushank,

Desired voltage range is 200 to 800 volts.

Hi,

Thanks. We are analyzing the design. Does Infineon also provide the source code of REF-DAB11KIZSICSYS and what is the way to get it. It would be helpful for fast prototyping.

Hi there,

At the moment, it is only possible to buy hardware and to use the Graphical User Interface that comes along with it. This GUI offers certain parameters to be modified within certain limits.

thanks.
