MEMS microphones
In this forum you can post your questions, comments and feedback about Infineon’s XENSIV™ MEMS microphones. Our high performance microphones can be used in a variety of application such as earbuds, headphones, smartphones or laptops for high quality audio pickup.
Pressure Sensors
Our XENSIV™ family of digital absolute barometric pressure sensors gives designers the best choice when it comes to mobile and wearable devices. Highlights include small form factors to facilitate system integration, highest precision and relative accuracy over a wide temperature range, fast read-out speeds via the serial I2C/SPI interface, and low power consumption to ensure longer battery lifetimes. All of our air sensing solutions have a FIFO buffer that can store the last 32 measurements. Since the host processor can remain in sleep mode for a longer period between readouts, the FIFO buffer can reduce system power consumption further.
Speed (Magnetic sensor)
In this forum you can post your questions, comments and feedback about the XENSIV™ Speed sensors. This sensor family is based on integrated Magneto Resistive (ixMR) or hall-based technologies in order to determine linear and rotational speed. Our Speed sensors can be used with ferromagnetic gear tooth wheels or encoders to measure speed and position and they are essential components for the function of safety and powertrain applications like rotating shafts. Here you can also find the links to the latest board pages, documents and FAQs.

I am working on a presence sensing applications, using BGT24LTR11 radar sensor. The sensor is connected to STM32G0 micro-controller. I need help to start the project. Any sample code or driver code will be very helpful. Also attaching the schematics.
Show LessHi,
I'm looking for a way to properly perform the BGT60TR13C sensor re-initialization procedure.
Regarding the example in the link: https://github.com/Infineon/sensor-xensiv-bgt60trxx
In case, if the xensiv_bgt60trxx_get_fifo_data function returns status = XENSIV_BGT60TRXX_STATUS_GSR0_ERROR
What should I do to re-init the radar sensor?
Actually, I have tried to read the FIFO for a long time (A few days) without any problem. But just want to handle if any problems appear when reading the FIFO data.
I have tried restarting the LDO power and then call 3 below functions to re-init the sensor but it does not working.
// Init bgt60trxx mtb
xensiv_bgt60trxx_mtb_init(&zRadarSensor,
zRadarSensor.iface.spi,
zRadarSensor.iface.selpin,
zRadarSensor.iface.rstpin,
register_list,
XENSIV_BGT60TRXX_CONF_NUM_REGS);
xensiv_bgt60trxx_mtb_interrupt_init(&zRadarSensor,NUM_SAMPLES_PER_FRAME, zRadarSensor.iface.irqpin);
xensiv_bgt60trxx_start_frame(&zRadarSensor.dev, true);
Could you point me how to re-init the sensor if the xensiv_bgt60trxx_get_fifo_data function returns errors?
Thanks!
Show LessWe plan to use IM72D128 as mic input, but the current debugging environment only has one IM72D128, so we choose LR=GND to configure it, but at this time, both the left and right channel fifo by data present, is this normal? If it's not normal, probably because of those place settings?

Show LessHello,
We are producing radar modules using BGT60UTR11AIP. We have found that the DC-offset of ADC data changes significantly between chips under the same conditions.
Is the DC-offset variation managed during the chip production? Or is there a way to calibrate it to a specific level?
Regards,
YK
Show LessHello,
I am trying to connect KIT_CSK_BGT60TR13C with my laptop according to instructions provided in User Guide for XENSIV™ KIT CSK BGT60TR13C.
The error I am facing is the following,
------------------------------
[INFO] Erasing Device Flash
Error: unable to find CMSIS-DAP device
[ERROR] Unable to erase device flash. Close all software accessing the kit, if open.
------------------------------
Version is 1.1.0. Light on the board keeps blinking instead of staying stable.
I tried different usb cables, ports and multiple laptops however I am still facing the same issue. May you kindly advise how can I solve this issue?
Thank you in advance.
Show LessIs it possible to use only one of the TMR wheatstone bridges in the TLI5590 as a magnetic field strength sensor?
If so, where exactly is the center of the sensing element - is it 250 um from the center of the package? Figure 3 of the datasheet shows 3 sensing areas, each 250 um apart, and Figure 6 appears to show the two signals 90deg out of phase on a linear magnetic scale of 1mm pole pitch.
Thank you!
Show LessHi.
I would like to ask what is the model number of the programming dongle in the first section of chapter 4 of the application note on your company's website.
How to purchase it, and can this programming dongle change the radar's sensitivity and other parameters?
Test Board : DEMO_60LTR11_AUTO_BLE

Show LessI am using BGT60LTR11SAIP with XMC4500. I can adjust the detection threshold from 66 through 2560, which corresponds to approximately 0.5 meters to 7 meters. Is there any information regarding the detection range corresponding to each value?
And when I approach my hand very slowly towards the sensor, it fails to detect the movement. Is there any relationship between the speed of the object and detection? If yes, what are they?
When could I expect no motion behavior? I mean, how long should an object be immobile to trigger the no-motion state,the sensor timeout?

Hi,
I am using the BGT60TR13C for vital sign extraction and I saw in other questions in the forum that the BGT60TR13C only outputs the I signal of the radar.
I tried to use the progression of each complex frequency component over time (chirp-to-chirp) as an IQ signal for each frequency component, as you suggested. But it is not working and I cannot extract meaningful information. For comparison, I did manage to extract specifically respiration rate using only the amplitude data in the output.
I would like your help to better understand how to extract phase from the output data and detect small vibrations.
Thank you!
