The opposite device's Vih (min) is 3.5V and the CY62156's Voh (min) is 2.4V. Therefore, it is not possible to connect directly.
Is it possible to add an external pull-up resistor for connection? According to the data sheet, Ioh is 1mA, so I'm thinking of setting the resistance value to about 2.6kohm.
(5V-2.4V) / 1mA = 2.6k)
Thanks,
Tetsuo

Hi Tetsuo-san,
Both devices are incompatible. Pull up resistor will not help, you will have to use a level shifter circuit (TTL->CMOS) for proper operation in this case.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
