Hi,I will post for the first time.
I am trying to use CY62167EV30LL-45BVXI of the VFBGA package.
There is no BYTE pin in this package.
Why is there no BYTE pin?

Hi Saiki,
Byte pin is used to provide the organisation structure ( like 2M X 8 or 1M x 16). In TSOP package a Byte pin is there to provide this info but for CY62167EV30LL-45BVXI of the VFBGA package it can only be used as 1M X 16 part. If you want to use the memory as 2M X 8 organisation in VFBGA package then you have to go with CY62168EV30LL-45BVXI. Please find the datasheet link below
