Hi
I use the position2go. I want to get raw data for 60 second. I revise and run extract_raw_data.m to finish it.But the total amount of raw data is wrong.
I want to ask the code "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(1000000);" is mean the time interval between two chrips?Or is mean the time interval between two 16 chrips?
I try to use "oRS.oEPRadarBase.stop_automatic_frame_trigger;", it will generate an error.
Warning: The specified amount of data was not returned within the Timeout period.
'serial' unable to read any data. For more information on possible reasons, see Serial Read Warnings.
And then program will been died.
I want to get raw data without interruption for 60 seconds. How can I revise the code?
Thanks

Hi @_Tom_chen_ ,
If frame_interval_us is non-zero the automatic trigger is started, if frame_interval_us is zero, the automatic trigger is stopped.
Thus, "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(0);" is equivalent to "oRS.oEPRadarBase.stop_automatic_frame_trigger;"
Practically, there is a minimum frame interval, which is set for device and can't be reduced further.
Thanks and regards,
Yashraj

Hi @_Tom_chen_ ,
1. "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(1000000);" means that the next frame will be triggered after time interval of "1s" (i.e., after 16 chirps).
2. What do you mean by "getting the raw data without interruptions", does it mean to get raw data without frame interval?
Thanks and regards,
Yashraj

Hi, @Yashraj_P
Thank you for your answer. I know the question 1 mean.
Yes,the question mean to get raw data without frame interval.
Does it set "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(0);" to achieve get raw data without frame interval.
Dose "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(0);" = "oRS.oEPRadarBase.stop_automatic_frame_trigger;"?
If it can set "oRS.oEPRadarBase.set_automatic_frame_trigger(0);", maybe my radar is broken.
Thanks for your respond

Did you check this thread ? The Frame time can be minimized to 4ms once you run this ComLib Matlab interface. I think that would help.
Cheers,
