Hello,
I've recently purchased the 24Ghz radar development board BGT24-RFB2412 (with the XMC4400-F100k512 AB micro-controller).
I'm trying to upload a new firmware from the sample code I got with the board.
I tried to use Dave and the usb port but I couldn't make the IDE communicate with board.
Is it possible to use the usb port for this or I have to use the cortex-debug JTAG connection?
Another unrelated question: In the board brochure it says that I can find an example code in infineon's website:
"Software/Firmware
Basic Doppler motion sensing capability comes by default with kit.
DAVE™ SW environment can be downloaded via Infineon website link.
Upgrading to FMCW capability for range/distance measurements can also
be updated from the Infineon website link."
I couldn't find this code... maybe I can get a link here?

Hi,
We purchased this board from Avnet, part number: DEMOSENSE2GO2TOBO1 (photo attached).

Because of confusion with Avnet's part number and website (the photo on the associated webpage looks unrelated), we are unclear on whether we received a Sense2Go or a Sense2Go2. Notice that the writing on the board says Sense2Go_3.1, but the photo of our board above matches the photo on a newer Avnet sales page for part number: 'DEMO SENSE2GO2' (link below)
https://www.avnet.com/shop/apac/p/kits-and-tools/development-kits/infineon/demo-sense2go2-3074457345630016202
Can anyone help us figure out which board we have? And if we have Sense2Go2, how to get software updates that will allow us to stream data via UART. Show Less

I would like to export the data acquired by the Sense2Go Development kit when connected via usb to a laptop, and after running the GUI. The kit comes with the MATLAB which processes the data, as well as displays the data in the GUI. My initial thought is to modify this MATLAB code to include a line which saves the acquired data. Unfortunately, this will not work as I would need to compile this new MATLAB code, which I cannot do as I do not have the MATLAB compiler on my laptop. Anyone have any suggestions on how to save the acquired data?

Hello,
I'm using BGT24MTR11 chip and I need to calculate VCO frequency based on tuning voltage. Vfine and Vcoarse are equal.
I have found a graph in BGT24MTR11 application note 305, but without equation I can only assume if, for example, at 25 degrees and 1.5V frequency is 24.3GHz or 24.4GHz?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Best regards,
Nenad Show Less

Hello all,
We have purchased 24 GHz Radar and were trying to do some measurements. However there are too many ghost targets appearing on the GUI. We are doing in open space indoor measurements.
Available Options:
Receiver : Rx1,
Gain : High
Target Threshold : 30
Gap Around Target : 1
Filter Static Objects : Off
RCS Compensation : Off
When these settings are done, we are not able to detect the correct range of the target or the angle of arrival.
We removed the metal plate from the current position (7 metres) and asked a human to walk with the same settings, unless he comes to 4.5 m -3.5 m , I dont see any target being detected at all , however we dont see many ghost targets appearing [ Case: Filter Static Objects :On]
I have gone through the code to get the relationship between Gap around the target and Target Threshold, however looks very tedious to find ? Can someone suggest what are the best settings to detect the target stable without ghost targets !!
Thanks and regards,
Kalyan Show Less

Hello,
I'm trying to start looking into the code for the Automotive 24GHz Radar Development Kit.
In the attached guide for it, in section 2.2 (pg. 7), it asks to install the “SWFramework_3v1r0.zip” from the Infineon homepage, however I cannot find that file anywhere.
I've tried downloading the Free Entry Tricore Toolchain, but that doesn't seem to work.
Please help.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone 🙂
Have any of you successfully installed and setup the Sense2Go Development Kit? I would love to hear your experiences, what problems you ran into and workarounds you created?
I just got the kit and have followed all the resources that Infineon provides but am still struggling to get things working. I have limited knowledge of working with C++ and other microcontrollers. Is using this kit too out of the depth of a relative novice?
