Hi everyone

In the block diagram, 3.3V from the MCU's PWM1 or LDO is always applied to VCC_PTAT.
At this time, about 1.5mA is flowing in VCC_PTAT.

End User is trying to shorten the time that this 1.5mA is flowing as much as possible.

Question:

How many seconds does it take to apply VCC to the IC using SW (FET) after outputting 3.3V from the MCU (that is, after voltage is applied to VCC_PTAT)?

To summarize the question
PWM1 3.3VOUT (= VCC_PTAT ON)
↓ They want to know how many seconds it takes
Switch ON (= VCC ON)
↓ 1usec
TX_ON (= radio radiation)

Device Info.

Hi @YoJa_3107936,

Could you please let us know from which document are you getting the 1.5 mA information?

If you are using  Demo Sense2GoL please refer to Sense2GoL documentation.

sense2goL-Board.JPG_1308556468.jpg

It is given in the application note that PWM1 is active for on time of 400 ms. Depending on the frame interval, duty cycle (%) is adjusted to keep the on time same, as seen in table 6 (page 20) of the document. The power consumption for each case can also be seen in the same table.

The S2GL board is discontinued and support will be limited as seen in the thread. It is recommended to use S2GL Pulse for better support.

Thanks and regards,

George

Hi @YoJa_3107936,

I am really sorry for the delay in responding.

Could you please clarify which board are you referring to?

Is it Sense2GoL or Sense2GoL Pulse?

Thanks and regards,

George
