First question asked Welcome!

Hello,

Does anyone know where the phase offset between the channels originates? The sample AoA script applies a -7 degree offset to the angle estimation. Where does this come from in the hardware? What are the differences between the measurement on both RX1 and RX2 channels?

Hi @mll156,

The offset value can be found by placing the target at zero degrees to the radar as follows.

A sensor on table-top pointed at the ceiling, allowing measurement of static targets, which can be further used for angle measurement for the angle calibration.

For more details you can refer to P2G Software UM.

To further understand your question can you please elaborate and let us know what script you referring to here?

Thanks and regards,

Sunil
