How to reduce the DC power consumption of BGT60TR13C?

Hi

I have a BGT60TR13C, and I usually use its fmcw mode. The following are some parameters I usually use for measurement.

  • Chirp start frequency: 58 GHz
  • Chirp stop frequency: 63 GHz
  • Samples per chirp: 128
  • Chirps per frame: 2
  • Frame Rate: 300 Hz
  • Sampling frequency: 500 kHz

After measurement, we can know that the DC power consumption measured when these parameters are set is about 600mW (5V, 0.12A), and I hope to reduce its DC power consumption to less than 10 mA. I would like to ask is there any way?

Hello @C-W-Chang 
The power modes (shape end power mode and frame end power mode) are configured to minimize the power consumption. Depending on how much time is left at the end of a shape and at the end of the frame, the lowest power modes possible are chosen.

The power modes (shape end power mode and frame end power mode) are configured to minimize the power consumption. Depending on how much time is left at the end of a shape and at the end of the frame, the lowest power modes possible are chosen.
