Can Distance2GoL work with Octave?

Go to: Firmware_Software → Communication Library → ComLib_Matlab_Interface → Examples → GettingStarted. I saw an example that can be used to read the raw data into Matlab.
I don' have Matlab, so I would like to know Is there any example with Octave?

We do not have any example code with octave, but you may try running the MATLAB code with Octave.
