Please tell me the meaning below the sentence of AN625 (p12 / 53) below.
“In pulsed mode the device is active only a short time followed by a time where VCO, RF and PLL is off. Baseband keeps running all the time. ”
Does it mean that the RF signal is output even when the VCO, RF and PLL are off?
I don’t know clearly what is “Baseband”.
And if it possible, please indicate the off block in the block diagram of BGT60LTR11AIP.

Hi,
The baseband parts have active high pass and low pass filters with large time constant. So, it would be better to keep it on.

Thanks for your help. I understood it but I have an additional question.
Why the baseband parts are running when VCO, PLL is off? IFI and IFQ aren't meaningless because RF part is off?
