Hi,
If you don't need the frequency divider, it's open (nothing is connected)
Is there a problem using it?
Best regards,
nakamura

Hi @h_nakamura ,
The connections are advised when ones want to monitor the frequency divider output. In order to monitor the DIV_OUT (frequency divider output from BGT24LTR11) assemble R38 (0 ohm) and VTUNE (VCO frequency tuning voltage) assemble R39 (0 ohm)
Hope this helps
Best Regards

Hello @h_nakamura ,
The output of the frequency divider are open so as to provide the flexibility to use it with different configuration to control the VCO using a PTAT, PLL or a software based open-loop concept. Please refer to the section 4 VCO Control from the user guide for more details .
Hope this helps

Hi Honey,
Thnanks for your prompt reply.
Is it mean that the VCC_DIV and the DIV pins don't need to be pulled up or pulled down when these pins aren't used?

Hi,
The AN597 does not have a direct description when it does not use pins, but from the description in "4.5.5 Prescalar" it can be inferred that it is "open" when it is not used because it requires a connector connection when used. Is this understanding correct?
R38 (0Ω) is for VCC_DIV.
R39 (0Ω) is for DIV.
Best regards,
H.N
