Hi everyone
We will do Radar radio authentication in Japan.
We plan to use the Doppler method (60GHz BGT60LTR11(B)AIP).
My Question
1, According to Japanese rules, the modulation method is as follows.
FMCW or pulse amplitude modulation
Will the Doppler method be pulse amplitude modulation?
The following conditions (Antenna Power) must be satisfied by the pulse modulation method.
12 dBm or less (peak power)
1 mW or less (average power)
Tolerance: +50 -70
2, Does this IC have a carrier sense function?

Please refer to the Electrical characteristics section in the datasheet for all the parameter values provide by Infineon. Less than 2mW power consumption is possible for BGT60LTR11AIP in Autonomous mode.

The BGT60LTR11(B)AIP MMIC is a pulsed Doppler-based radar, it is the Japanese version for the MMIC which is operating in the frequency band from 60.5 GHz to 61 GHz.
The MMIC does not have carrier sense function.

Antenna Power
Peak Power: 12 dBm or less
Average power: 1mW or less
Could you tell me the value of Peak Powe and Average power?
I can not find the information from datasheet.
