RF Switches Forum Discussions
Hi,
For a specific design, I need to know exactly what is the capacitance of RFc port.
1. When connecting to RFx port
2. When open
Does anyone have this information ?
Thanks
Show LessWe have a problem with the switches. When measuring in the DVB-C range the switch always loses 1 db MER. With 4 switches it adds up to 4 db MER. The MER should be 40 db, but it is 36 db at the output. We previously had relays inside and these did not cause any problems. The level is fine. We have no problems in the SAT range.
Show LessHello,
is there a limit to the number of cycles I can reflow solder the BGS14M8U9?
We place our components in a two stage workflow with the BGS14M8U9 being the first component in the PCB. Can it endure another solder cycle or does this have any impact on the product?
Best regards
Show LessDear Team,
Kindly help to advise on EVB of BGSX22G6U10E6327XTSA1.
I want to measure the rf power of two signals of 75MHz frequency.
can I measure the power of both signals one by one using this RF switch (BGS12P2L6) and a single RF power detector?
I tried to make a PCB (image attached) but I found that I did not get control over the common port RF to switch it from one port to another.
on changing the voltage level from 0 to 1.8 on the control port. I get signals on both ports.
level of signal is the same in both ports and becomes high when I apply 1.8V (on both ports)
May I Get an evaluation PCB for this RF switch?
Show LessHello everyone,
as for example the AS179-92LF, a SPDT switch up to 4 GHz, states that it is made of pHEMT GaAs FETs, there is no such information in the datasheet of the BGS14M8U9. Does anyone know if it is based on GaAs, GaN, Sic, FET or just MOSFET?
Apologies if that is something obvious, but I`m really new to semiconductors and material science.
Best regards
Show LessI would like to check the possibility of using BGS18MA12 Rf switch for an RFID HF 13.56Mhz project.
I would like to use it to attached multiple antennas to a single transceiver and each time select a different antenna.
The issue is that the IC is rated with a minimum frequency of 100Mhz but regardless of this, I want to know if there is any chance that this IC will work in the RFID case?
IF not, is there a similar alternative to the BGS18MA12 that will work for the 13.56MHz band?
Thanks
Show LessHello everyone, I have encountered a difficult problem. For the BGS18MA12 RFFE device, when using the MIPI1.1 Master for register access, the readback is always 0x00. The trigger power supply, MIPI voltage, and MIPI timing have all been checked. Are there any other possibilities, or does the device require any special registers to be set to perform MIPI reading and writing normally?

Show LessHello,
I am trying to solder the BGS14M8U9 onto a PCB with a Pick & Place robot wich also dispenses the Paste. I`m looking for the right volume or mass of paste becaus of its impact on the line impedance
From the datasheet i can see that the stencil pad has a diameter of 0.25 mm but there is no information about the thickness or aspect ratio of the stencil for calculating the volume.
How can i calculate the right amount of solder paste?
Any recommendations or values based on experience?
Best regards.
