Infineon's TLE9012DQU is a multi channel battery monitoring and balancing IC for various lithium-ion battery applications, with integral functions like voltage and temperature measurement, cell balancing, and isolated communication with the main battery controller, including self-diagnosis features. The TLE9015DQU iso UART Transceiver IC is used in battery systems for enabling the communication between the main microcontroller and multiple TLE9012DQU units in a daisy-chain configuration. This forum welcomes discussions, queries, and insights on battery management systems and devices.

I am using Psoc 4 with BLE (4200).
It resets unexpectedly and on boot show reset cause : 0
0 is none of the below: it is not WDT(1) , it is not SYS (8) , it is not SW (16)
#define CY_SYS_RESET_WDT_SHIFT (0u)
#define CY_SYS_RESET_PROTFAULT_SHIFT (3u)
#define CY_SYS_RESET_SW_SHIFT (4u)
#define CY_SYS_RESET_WDT ((uint32)1u << CY_SYS_RESET_WDT_SHIFT )
#define CY_SYS_RESET_PROTFAULT ((uint32)1u << CY_SYS_RESET_PROTFAULT_SHIFT)
#define CY_SYS_RESET_SW ((uint32)1u << CY_SYS_RESET_SW_SHIFT )
can you tell me please what can it be?
Show LessI want to perform a firmware upgrade wherein a microcontroller (wifi-ready) will obtain the application thru wifi then thru I2C will send it to the PSOC BLE. Thank you for your response.
Show LessHi,
We are using the CY7C65632-TQFP48 (4-port hub), In this hub data sheet given as each down stream port power controlled by PWR#(port power pins) When the hub is configured, the ports are not driven and the host may power the ports by sending a SetPortPower command for each port. But default hub is configured and 4-port are working and how to send the SetPortPower command to hub to control the down stream ports (use set port power command is given in datasheet).

Show LessI have a brand new kit from Arrow.
I am trying out some of the example apps, particularly the CE220335 BLE Eddystone project. I get this error when trying to debug:

So, I changed the device to CY8C6247BZI-D54 and get the following error using clean/build:

Show LessHi @LL,
I am pleased to announce that from now the free FORTH Mecrisp-Stellaris in the latest version 2.4.2 for the Eva-Kit-059 with the PSoC cy8c5888lit is available for download.
See: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mecrisp/files/ >>> mecrisp-stellaris-2.4.2 for cy8c5888lti.zip
So currently supported two Eva-Kids: -059 and -050.
See also: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mecrisp/files/ >>> mecrisp-stellaris-2.4.2 for cy8c5868axi.zip
Another porting for the Eva-Kit-049-4xxx is for now in progress. The porting for the PSoC 6 is also planned. With this FORTH-pagage it is possible to test all C-applications interactively without debugger. The Kernel have integrated an interpreter and compiler. The Compiler is extendabel in FORTH itself.

unfortunately in version 2.4.1 for the Eva-Kit-050 lacks the following hint in README:
7. /! \ In the menu bar of the PSoC Creator switch from Debug to Release /! \
For an error-free translation, it is necessary to select RELEASE in the menu line. Debug is currently not supported.

Show LessDear Experts
We have a product using EZ-USB FX2lp. we want to use this chip to program Xilinx FPGA prom in the system. I found AN84868 which explain how to use EZ-USB FX3 to do the similar thing, I am not a professional firmware guy, so I wonder is there a similar project or application note based on EZ-USB FX2. or any generic suggestion how to port an EZ-USB FX3 code to FX2.
Thank you,

Show LessTrying to debug a camera application and would be helpful if we had a state diagram.
As a base, we are using the example firmware SDK in: /cyfx3sdk/firmware/cx3_examples/cycx3_uvc_ov5640
Could somebody please confirm if the example application (cycx3_ov5640.c) has the same state diagram as that depicted at AN75779 (http://www.cypress.com/file/123506/download) pg 18?
I suspect not as the UART debug reports states greater than the 15 shown in this document.
Can somebody please post or provide this state diagram so that the community can work off this?
