Infineon's TLE9012DQU is a multi channel battery monitoring and balancing IC for various lithium-ion battery applications, with integral functions like voltage and temperature measurement, cell balancing, and isolated communication with the main battery controller, including self-diagnosis features. The TLE9015DQU iso UART Transceiver IC is used in battery systems for enabling the communication between the main microcontroller and multiple TLE9012DQU units in a daisy-chain configuration. This forum welcomes discussions, queries, and insights on battery management systems and devices.

Hello,
I was hoping to load default values into the memory array, CFI field and protection bits for the S29GL512S12DHE010 for the VHDL simuation model for the S29GL512S. How do I do this? The user manual leaves a lot to be desired and I dont know how to do it. It would be great if one could be created for me. It looks like if I make the UserPreload false, it defaults everything to undefined (U) and I would think that would force me to issue an erase command then send a write command. The test bench calls out these files as constants but I dont see where these files are at all for a different flash part. All I want to do is send write to buffer, and word program commands. I may also want to read commands so having a template of sort that I can modify would be a great help. Unfortunally the provided simulation model to my knowledge doesn't address this at least in a clear, easy to understand way. Essentially I want my simulation to have FFFF written everywhere to start.
Thanks, Dan
Note: I asked this in the Community information topic area by mistake.
Show LessHi Sir,
目前项目上在选型一款BLE模组,该蓝牙模组上电后,就可以直接使用,不需要额外的软件开发,主MCU可以直接给模组发数据,蓝牙模组将数据传出去,能否推荐下蓝牙模组,谢谢。
Can the CCG3PA be dynamically controlled and monitored by other MCUs using I2C?
I am aware that I can do this by using the SDK to create the appropriate firmware, is that correct?

Show LessHi,
we've been using the CYPD3177 for a while. Mainly because it allows to set USB-C PD without any FW development.
The FAULT pin on the chip seems to be constantly high, although the chip is correctly providing power to the whole system (15V @1A). We're puzzled by this and haven't been able to find the root cause. We suspect there's somehow a brief OVP event at some point during startup.
We're wondering: case of a brief OVP event, does the FAULT pin get stuck high? Or does it go back to low as soon as the OVP event disappears?
The datasheet doesn't offer much detail on this.
Thanks.
Show LessOK, I am feed up with having to add back about 15 lines of #includes of my personal functions in the form of #include statements to the bottom of the project.h file.
Most of the time everything is fine and the #includes are still there.
But the other times they disappear and cause errors.
I have saved all after adding the #include statement.
I have tried to place the #includes in the main.c file but they do not work as expected, I have found they only work in the project.h file.
I believe this mostly happens when I change the TopDesign.cysch design.
Show LessHello,
I am investigating Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) Secure Mode of EZ-Serial F/W.
https://www.cypress.com/file/452971/download
- Security Mode 4 (service level enforced security)
=> Secure Simple Pairing
(1) Just works: EZ-Serial F/W is supported.
(2) Passkey Entry: EZ-Serial F/W is supported.
(3) Numeric Comparison: EZ-Serial F/W is supported.
- Security mode 3 (link level enforced security) & Security mode 2 (service level enforced security)
=> Legacy PIN mode: EZ-Serial F/W is supported.
As mentioned above, it seems that Security Mode 4-2 can be supported.
But I don't know how to work with Security mode 1 (non-secure).
Does EZ-Serial F/W support Security mode 1 (non-secure)?
Best regards,
Takahashi

hi,
I'm using psoc creator 4.2.0.641 for cy8ckit-044. I'm having problems with the software, after several time I build and clean the project, my project always has the same errors, those are :
1. pft.M0000: An internal error occurred in the fitter: (System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'MPU9250.cydsn\codegentemp\bitstream.txt' is denied.).
2. bse.M0105: Unable to open the file for writing. Access to the path 'MPU9250.cydsn\codegentemp\warp_dependencies.txt' is denied.
When I check my project files ("codegentemp\bitstream.txt" and "codegentemp\warp_dependencies.text") 2 files are missing, even the backup file that I made (.rar files) also missing the file.
Until now, every time I get errors I always make a new project.
Anyone have the solution?
Thanks,
Dwi
