Infineon's TLE9012DQU is a multi channel battery monitoring and balancing IC for various lithium-ion battery applications, with integral functions like voltage and temperature measurement, cell balancing, and isolated communication with the main battery controller, including self-diagnosis features. The TLE9015DQU iso UART Transceiver IC is used in battery systems for enabling the communication between the main microcontroller and multiple TLE9012DQU units in a daisy-chain configuration. This forum welcomes discussions, queries, and insights on battery management systems and devices.

I have this programmer.
I am trying to detect the board with
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/cypress-programmer-archive
this software but it can not detect.
Do anything extra i need to download or update to be able to program the MCU alongside with this board with this sofware.

Hello,
we are developing products based on EZ-USB FX3. My question is, can we use the cypress VID and PID. I read that: "Cypress VID can be used only for development purposes", the Cypress VID/ PIDs can be used for testing purposes and when the end product is to be released, it is essential to use a different VID issued by USB.org. ".
I am asking to know if you have any updates or changes on that topic.
Thanks in advance.

Show LessHello,
I've been worked long time in field of mobile platform and have a plentiful career about low level system driver on mobile BB SW with commercial RTOS such as Nucleus and ThreadX.
Nowadays, I got a chance to get a job to develop BLE module using Cypress chip.
So, I'm gathering useful information for this stuff from your site and bought your CYW920706WCDEVAL board already.
However, I have a question about basic concept of development using WICED studio.
Basically, FW/driver engineer code and debug in full source level with OS API under RTOS environment. we compile and link it using ARMCC/ARMLNK to get bin file.
What's the difference between upper case and WICED studio environment?
what kinds of RTOS delivered from WICED studio environment? I couldn't find any information about RTOS used in your environment. otherwise, do I need to port any RTOS I have on your SDK env.?
It's a very simple question for you, but I've been confused about this basic concept. think my brain was harden due to long time career in one platform.
Please give me your basic concept regarding dev. environment with your studio/SDK.
Thanks!

Hi,
We're using CYPD5225 at the host side in source mode and have to cope with power hungry devices. There is need to power off these devices completely to reduce wear and tear and then re-enable later. This can be done easily by disabling the port as this disconnects the device and powers it down.
This approach has a problem that the port stays disabled even when the device is disconnected, because PD firmware does not detect the cable plug-out. Is there way to disable power so that PD still detects plug-out of the device and the firmware can re-enable port? We've tried e.g. disabling VBUS only but this did not work.
Thanks!
Hi,
Can I run multi application more than 2 on CYW20706?
For example, I want to run two apps like A2DP and HFP as one binary. Is it possible with CYW20706?
If possible could you please give me an application note or How to doc for that?
Thanks
Show LessThis can be done by placing two resistors in series on the IN_SET pin.
When the tail operation is active, the two resistors RSET1 and RSET2 set the output current.
When the Stop operation is active, the transistor T1 is active and pulls RSET1 to GND bypassing RSET2.
This way the output current is set only be RSET1.

E.g. parallelizing several TLD2131-3EP output channels when the ICs are used in an OR combination for a Tail/Stop application - behavior of the application is:
a) when Tail signal is active LED Group 1 is ON with 100% nominal current set by IC2. LED Group 2 is ON with 100% nominal current set by IC1
b) when Stop signal is active LED Group 1 is ON with 100% nominal current set by IC3. LED Group 2 is ON with 100% nominal current set by IC4
c) when both Tail and Stop signals are available, both LED groups will be ON with 50% of nominal current each (set by all ICs)
Indeed it is possible to configure multiple LITIX™ Basic+ ICs and its output channels in parallel.
When either Tail or Stop operation is active, only the respective IC which is supplied (supply at VS-pin) will drive the LED group with 100% of nominal current set by RSET.
A diode is not needed on the outputs of the ICs as only the ICs which is supplied will provide current to the LED group.
When the combined Tail-Stop operation (both supply signals) is active, both ICs drive the LED group with the a different level of current.
This different level of current which is required can be set either with use of PWM signal of via the IN_SET pin (change of RSET value).
