Hi,
I'm trying to find the tolerance of package & footprint for BSZ215CH from the home page but i couldn't.
Would you help me get the tolerance of BSZ215CH?
-. Dimension tolerance of PG-TSDSON-8LTI (PG-TSDSON-8-31)
-. Dimension tolerance of PCB footprint
Show LessDear Community,
I am trying to simulate 1. Transfer characteristics 2. Output Characteristics 3. Gate characteristics using the SiMetrix model. However, I have observed discrepancies in the simulated data with that of the datasheet.
I am trying to figure out, why ?
Show LessOne of our customers (Konark) is working on an ICL5102 device for 200W, and they need your help regarding transformer design for LLC and PFC. below are the required details.
“We need your support on transformer design data (PFC Boost Transformer & LLC transformer) which is the major crucial aspect of any LLC-based design.
Please find the below-mentioned requirements and give support on transformer design.
AC input Voltage: 100V – 290V
Input Frequency: 47Hz – 63Hz
Required Efficiency : >93%
Rated LED Voltage: 48V – 60V
LED Current range: 0.032 - 3.2A
LED Power: 192W (Maximum)
Analog Dimmable: YES (0-10V analog dimming)
THD : <10%
PF : >0.95
I also have some other queries regarding the LLC topology:
Q1: Should we design a Split Bobbin transformer (Lr & Lm) for the LLC stage, or should we use a separate standard transformer for Lr & Lm.?
Q2: Can we design an LED driver with higher output voltage and low output currents like a 200W LLC driver with only 700mA/750mA output current only or must we shift from LLC to LCC topology.?
Please share the transformer designs for the PFC Boost stage & LLC stage so that we can design the PCB accordingly.
Need your support ASAP.”
Show LessDear Infineon:
Current I have one device for choosing how to driver it.
- In direct mode with GPIO control of device. Which GPIO1 controls the DSG FET, another GPIO2 controls the CHG FET.
- Register Control can be configured as simple control mode. Logic: rising edge active? or level active?
Some comments for my reference? or data for my study?
Show LessHi infineon team. Would it be feasible to get the step file for M3L2803R3S? It'd be super useful for modeling a concept we're working on.
Thank you!
Show LessHi there,
I already asked a similar question in another forum, but now I want to know for sure. I try to calculate the power losses off a selected FET with plecs. For that I tried to calculate the losses with the given formula shows in the appendix "Eon_Mosfet". On the other hand, there is the possibility of this via the given paper "ApplicationNote...".
Firstly, I tried to calculate the losses behaviour with the given "ApplicationNote..." paper.
This one says that the switching losses via Tj (T_Junction), Gate Resistance, Ids and Vds have a significant contribution to the power losses. While I can insert the first three factors into PLECS, I'm missing the information about the losses over Vds. The paper says: "This information is not included in the datasheet due to the linearity of this dependence." That means the switching losses via Vds isn't include in the datasheet, but I assume they exist a way to calculate the approximate course (shows in appendix - "E=f(Vds)"). Presumably even without measuring it experimentally. Am I right?
On the other hand I found the paper: "MOSFET Power Losses Calculation Using the Data-Sheet Parameters".
For example, with the given information (shows in the appendix "Eon_Mosfet"), I would calculate the switching losses (Eon) of the FET using the formula and calculate this with different values (Udd, Idon) and calculate an approximated function. Then I would insert the function into Plecs. Is this a possible way or would that falsify my simulation results?
Show LessHello Community,
we are actually searching for something like a migration guide when we change from a TJA1145 to the TLE9255WLC.
Is there something available?
Thank you very much and have a nice day!

Show LessHello,
is there any possibility to identify if the module (upper one) is the the counterfeit or innovated product?
The lower picture should be he original part ..
Both modules are marked as BSM35GP120DN120 but inner chips are different - layout is the same..
Show LessAre there any special solder recommendations for the PG-HSOG-8 package given that the device we are planning to use (IPTG014N10NM5ATMA1) has a current rating of 366A? Are there any suggestions for board layout as far as copper weight and layers used to handle the current?
