Hi Infineon team,
We use TLF35584 to control TC397 and would like to use TLF35584 wdg to monitor TC397. But we face the problem, ROT pin is always high even we write below command. I can see err cnt(WWDECNT) increase by 2 until to 9, but ROT is still high. Can you please confirm if I missed any steps or if there are any additional hw pins that need to be checked? Thanks.

How good does the built-in DAC sound of MA12070P. What can it be compared to? ES9038Q2M?

Hi,
We purchased BTS71220-4ESA module for one of my project, can you please share any example code to communicate BTS71220-4ESA using SPI.
Like Arduino uno to BTS71220-4ESA or any Library code.
Thanks in Advance.
Show LessHi,everyone
There are some problems with TLF35584 mode transition. l closed error monitor and open window watchdog with default. So, l try to feed dog ,then send spi command 'go to normal'. Then l check the device status reg and pin status.l found l do not trans sucessfully. l'm sure spi communication is truth. And l closed window watchdog after that. Then l just send command 'go to normal', going to nomal mode sucessfully.
So, l want to konw whether lt needed to be closed in init mode or l feed dog by mistake. There is my means to feed dog:
1.read bit of trigger status of 0x17
2.If trigger status is 1, l send writing command to write 0x01 data to 0x17. Otherwise, the opposite is true.
Show LessHello,
Im trying to use Imotion Solution Designer to make all the configurations for EVAL-M3-102T and EVAL-M3-IM564.
When i finished all the configurations i saved the project and also exported the parameter.
I closed the program and when i opened again an error apeared.
I clicked OK and now when i try to see the configuration i had, nothing happens.
I tried creating other projects and changing the parameters, but the same thing always happens.
Until now i was using MCEDesigner and MCEWizard, but the oscilloscope seems better in this program, so I wanted to use it.
Attached is the Project created.
If someone has advice on this i would apreciate it.
Thanks,
Paulo

Show LessHi, I have been developing motor controller around the imc102t device... i have tested several examples under various conditions and have been working on fine tuning motor and pfc control parameters. Randomly today when i uploaded a new configuration file for a test run with the motor, i got an AC input frequency fault showing on the dashboard of ISD. I can still start and run the motor but i can not identify what has caused this fault to show up... the connected ac line tests at 59.99hz on my multimeter, so it does not appear to be a problem with the ac line frequency. i checked signal continuity and resistance values for all the components from the ac line up to the input pins on the chip with no issues detected. I didn't change any parameters in my configuration that should have affected frequency detection so i am quite confused as to what is going on.
As i said i can still run the motor but i would like to understand what is going on here to hopefully avoid future problems
Thanks, Dan
Show LessWe sell an automotive ECU that has been on the market since before I came here - probably 15 to 20 years. Recently we had three returned with similar failures, one of the fuel injector driver outputs had failed on each. Each of the failures was on a different channel - there are eight channels total in the ECU. The output transistor is an IRLR3705ZPBF that is a low-side driver - the injector has battery voltage on one side and this output switches the other side to ground to turn it on. The only other related component is a current sense resistor between the transistor source and ground. The three failures are similar in that the output is 'stuck' on - the transistor flows enough current that the injector remains on all the time. With no power on the unit, measuring between the output pin (transistor drain) and ground gives a low resistance - two were in the range of 3K ohm while the third was 235 ohms (on a normal channel, the resistance is very high). Unfortunately, these units are potted, so I can't make any other checks. The question is... based on this very limited information (low resistance), is there any indication regarding the cause of the failure? For example, I've seen power MOSFETs fail with nearly a direct short due to over-current, but these resistances are much higher than that. Besides, the output has current monitoring and shuts off when over-currented - my testing indicates that this works. Of the other failure modes, do any generally result in a 'partially' shorted condition? Thanks, Dave.

Hi,
I have a problem when running a motor at diferent accelerations, at 1000 RPM/s the gatekill error does not occur, but when i set the acceleration to 1500 RPM/s, the gatekill error occurs very frequently sometimes, and other times never occurs.
The load is a vertical industrial door.
Gate opening at 1000RPM/s, never gives gatekill
Gate opening at 1500 RPM/s and not giving gatekill
Gate opening at 1500 Rpm/s and giving gatekill
I know that the motor is using more current when i increase the acceleration, but i want to know how to properly make the setup to gatekill and be able to allow more current in acceleration while still being safe.
Should i increase the Overcurrent trip level?
How can i setup the maximum value the current can reach before the gatekill error (for example 6A), i'm not understanding the the connection of Overcurrent trip level to Actual current of motor .
Attached is the configuration in MCEWizard with the config for the motor and system,
Hope someone can give me advice,
Best Regards,
Paulo
