I was hoping to find information on the TLE7259-3 LIN Transceiver ability to convert 3.3v TTL to LIN.
I am looking at a product from MikroElektronika (https://www.mikroe.com/lin-click) that uses this transceiver. My use case would be installing this device between an ECU trace output and a LIN bus input on a data logger.
I am seing an abnormal behavior of register VMONSTAT, for some reason (we still do not know why) the register is indicating that QVR (Voltage reference) is not ok, even though we know for sure that there is voltage on the output pin, also make not sense that the register is reporting that QT1 and QT2 (Trackers) are ok, when according to datasheet QVR is directly related with QT1 and QT2 in other words make no sense that QT1 and QT2 be working when QVR don´t.
This is what I am seing on VMONSTAT:
Also another question will be, whats the difference beetween VMONSTAT and DEVSTAT, because according to Errata Sheet
Rev. 3.0, VMONSTAT is only indication when a voltage is enable (not if is out of range) and this seems to be the same as DEVSTAT, in the situation descripted above this is what I see on DEVSTAT:
From my point of view make no sese that DEVSTAT is reporting VREF as "enable" but VMONSTAT is reporting it as "Not enable"Show Less
We are using TLE7259-3 LIN Transceiver in Flash Mode. Due interrupts it is not always possible to get exact timing of switching sequence to switch to Flash Mode.
Is there a possibility to recognize to which mode the LIN Transceiver switched i.e. similar to NXP MC33662?
Or has Infineon an other LIN Trasceiver supported this feature?Show Less
The XDPP1100 provides the method of forced duty cycle T1, T2 for PWM generation. The registers rampX_force_t1 and rampX_force_t2 have an LSB resolution of 5 ns. In the technical reference manual, it is said that "it is possible to provide additional time resolution to both t1 and t2 via rampX_force_duty[5:0] according to Equations (7.8) and (7.9) when t1 and t2 are forced”. You can find it on page 141 in the document.
What's the effective time resolution with this method? How to use this feature and can you elaborate it more in detail?Show Less
Hi, we are trying to design a DCDC Converter using ICE2HS01 LLC controller.
Based on the 300w Infeneon design we have modified the the Vins resistance for 72 V DC input and the value for Cr,Lr and Lm.
after assembly we get a 12 v, but the voltage drops after 9-10 amp.
one more problem that we observed is at a particular load current between 4.7 amp to 5.6 amp we get a voltage glitc in the output.
after this range the voltage gets stable.
can you suggest the root cause of both of this issues.

we are developing an AC three phase induction motor driver with a PFC stage in front. We have basically copied the “EVAL_2.5KW_CCM_4PIN” for PFC stage with minor changes. See the schematics below and also attached pdf file.
We are using a non-isolated gate driver (1EDN7550) and 10mR current sense resistor and 350VDC bus with maximum load of 6A. We have 5 prototypes for beta testing at customer facilities and they all have been working fine until recently. One of them came back yesterday with extensive damages and burning in PFC stage. The 10mR current sense resistor is completely evaporated, D5, D9 and Q3 are all shorted and there is huge sign of arcing between vias of sense resistor and chassis ( chassis is connected to PE and has 7mm distance to the bottom of the board). Also, R110 (Vsens first resistor) is burned. Could you please help me to understand what could have gone wrong and ways to improve the design? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

We are designing PFC converter based on Infineon EVAL-PFC5KIKWWR5SYS evaluation board. The inductance value mentioned in application manual L1,L2 53uH. Even as per your spec calculated L is 53uH only. Whereas your BOM it was mentioned 85uH. Please let me know the design consideration for 85uH.
