Dear Sir,
If we do not program the address from 0x4001 to 0x402E,
does it will effect the IC movement?
Best regards,
Lillian

Hi,
As specified in the Programming guide, 0x4001 - 0x402E are read-only registers and should not be written to while programming.

Dear Pranava,
There is no I2C Address=0x7C on the table.
Please let us know what we can do?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Lillian

Hi Lillian,
For this setting, you need to set base address of slave as 0x70 and use 22.6KOhm on XADDR pin. You can set this base address in the GUI and program the configuration generated.

Hi Pranava,
If you use a different I2C address for Program, will influence the IC function?
For example: we use the 0x70 address to program, and the original file is set as 0x7C?
Thank you for the help.
Best regards,
Lillian

Hi,
No, changing the I2C address will not have any impact on IC functionality.
You need to use the right address that the IC is already configured in order to connect to the IC and configure it. If I2C address is changed, you need to reconnect manually after configuration with changed address.

Dear Pranava,
Changing the XDPE12284C I2C address will not have any impact on IC functionality.
Changing the XDPE152C4D I2C address will not have any impact on IC functionality either, right?
Best regards,
Lillian

Hi,
You can change them to any address other than the reserved addresses. Please refer to the datasheet "PMBus Interface" to check which ones are reserved. This applies to both parts you mentioned above.
