Hi,

I have a WLC1115 evaluation board and while testing it I encountered this problem. It can't charge our receiver (in this case the led satatus of evalboard is blue).
But it can charge my phone.
What could be the problem?

Best Regards,
Samir

Hi @sbl
As the phone is being charged from the transmitter so there is no problem from the transmitter side. There is communication between receiver and transmitter so blue light indication is there. Please check your connection between the receiver coil & BQ2481 as well as BQ2481 to the battery. Check the output voltage at the terminal of BQ2481 And verify the BQ2481 is working properly.
If still error persists, Please share the schematic.

Feel free to reach out to us in case of any further queries.

Hi @sbl

Thanks for posting on the Infineon Developer Community.

The LED will illuminate blue if there is connectivity between the transmitter and receiver, either by maintaining a receiver at the transmitter or by keeping the phone at the transmitter to charge it.

Note that there will be no LED indication if it is in idle state as well as when the power delivery is completed/ Phone is fully charged.

This is the usual behavior of the device to represent the system states.

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by "it can't charge our receiver"?

If you need any more information, please feel free to reach us.

I hope the information will be useful for you.

Hi,

We have a own receiver board using GPMQ9103A (receiver from General plus) and we are charging a battery. We noticed that the battery is not charged.
The status Led of WLC1115 eval board is glows blue. FyI, we did not change the configuration of WLC1115.

Do you have idea?

FYI, the receiver GPMQ9103A  is connected to BQ2481 then to the battery.
