I use ICE2PCS01 for 300W CCM PFC

General information is as follows
VIN85 - 265 VAC
VOUT 390
300W
FSW 62.5KHZ
"The power transmission system is 220V and I use a 2KW variac to reduce it to 85V. The frequency of the line is 50HZ at 220V and 85V"
And the schematic is as follows

I have a serious problem
I calculated 6A peak current and 4Arms current at 85V
But never more than 1 amp current is drawn from the input.
When the output is unloaded, the voltage is 390 volts, but when the load is less than 5k ohms, the voltage drops and reaches 120 volts, even at 220 volts, the voltage does not reach 390 volts or even 300 volts. and the input current does not exceed 1Arms (at 220 volts)
At the same time, the yield is good

 PFC_Choke : Two stacks of cs330060

1.24mH at full load

Permeability : 64%

awg #17

R shunt is : 0.1R 1%  no inductive property

C_Icomp = 4.7nF

C_vcomp = 1u and "Series connection 33k  and 0.1u"

 

I changed the c_icomp and c_vcomp values a lot
I changed the frequency from 45 kHz to 150 kHz

I also increased and decreased the value of the current sense resistance


And I got the inductance again from the following relationship

I calculated the required inductance of 421uH
I have tried all kinds of kool mu core and iron powder
for example
77083
t84-52
t184-8

I even short-circuited the ntc resistor
I put gate drive
I redesigned the pcb and used 87.5um copper

I observed the diode current waveform and the core is working in ccm.

 

What prevents the passage of current?

it is 220R 1%

Do you want its waveform?

 waveform for 220E is not needed.

Generally loading issues will come if sensing the current is not proper.

Check sense resistor value and waveform.

I checked everything.
When I changed the MOSFET there was a drastic change in the duty cycle limits
And I changed the gate resistance to 10 ohms and noticed that the current increased.
Can you guide me why this happened?

IC ice2pcs01 seems to be similar to ucc28180. Could this be the reason?" MOSFETand IGBT-based PFCConverters"

When I only change the MOSFET, the voltage gain increases (allows more current to pass).
And with some MOSFETs, I could not increase the current
(gate resistance from 3R 3 to 15 ohms)
Please help me
I want to use this IC in the design because it has good features and price

 

 

 

Why does the current change drastically with the change of MOSFETs, while the rds are low (less than 100mR) and the fall & Riss time are constant

Honestly, it looks like the inductor saturation. You should check the shunt oscill, if it´s not saturated (the waveform says yes or no).
