First question asked Welcome!

Hello, I need to replace TIs UCC28180D PFC driver chip and I found very similar from Infineon, the ICE2PCS05G.
I checked datasheets for pinouts, frequencies and functionalities so I know they are very similar, but Im not sure I can swap them with no other changes to my PCB.

Can I just directly replace UCC28180D with Infineons ICE2PCS05G?

Datasheets:

UCC28180D : https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ucc28180.pdf?ts=1656339114862&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.c...

ICE2PCS05G : https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-ICE2PCS05-DataSheet-v01_02-EN.pdf?fileId=db3a30431c69a49d011c...

Thank you.

Hi @imcopower
I appreciate your contribution to the Infineon community.
Please compare the PCB layout's packaging dimensions. Due to rating variances and internal reference variations, component modification is required even though the majority of the features are identical.
