I found a Cypress part of S6BP201A1AST2B20A to be EOL and any suggested part from Infineon to replace it without too much hardware change on it.

Hello,
Yes, S6BP501A is a good alternate for S6BP201A. Please also do note the difference in package and operating ambient temperature other than additional regulators (3.3V,1.2V) in S6BP501A.

The closest match for the replacement of S6BP201A1AST2B20A is TLF35584QVVS1 but the following points need to be considered.
1.TLF35584QVVS1 is not pin-pin compatible
2.TLF35584QVVS1 has independent boost and buck converter blocks unlike buck-boost in S6BP201A1AST2B20A, which should still be fine because boost in mainly used during cranking application only.
3.TLF35584QVVS1 has additional LDO's for sensor supply's, communication supply, etc.
4.TLF35584QVVS1 has additional safety feature with SMU block which provides secondary safety shutdown path.
5.It also has sync feature and mode change from PWM to PFM in light load conditions just as S6BP201A1AST2B20A.
Note: TLF35584QVVS1 is only an approximate match and not the exact replacement. Hence, consider your application before finalizing the part.

Hi Anil,
Thanks for your reply and suggestion but our original design is not MCU control to PMIC and it is a bit difficult to change to TLF35584QVVS1. Howver, I found there another chip of S6BP501A to be similar in the block diagram as S6BP201A1AST2B20A but only more in 3.3V and 1.2V output but we can skip it as well. What do you if I used S6BP501A to replace S6BP201A parts?
