Dears
We are recommending customers to evaluate TLE9461, customers have several technical questions to consult, please help this, thanks!
1. According to the data sheet of TLE9461, its protection functions include overheating and short circuit protection (LDO), are there other protection functions such as overvoltage at the voltage input, overcurrent protection?
2. The customer has a request for the parameters of the SBC chip, I can't find it in the data sheet, please help this.
Wake Time/Power On - Operating time. The switching time from sleep to working mode is required to be ≤2s,
From off to standby≤2s,
From standby to normal mode≤50ms

- Protection functions of the TLE9461 are short to ground protection, overcurrent protection (selectable via HW_CTRL_3 register) and over temperature protection. There is no overvoltage protection at the input, however a monitoring of Under- and Overvoltage at Vs is available. If an overvoltage protection is needed you needs to add a zener diode (or equivalent structure). In addition, a reverse polarity protection for VS supply pins is also required for protection against reverse battery
- Transition to the different states are happening right after the SPI command is given. So in this case we can consider no delay rather than the propagation delay. However, after a wake-up event from SBC Sleep or Fail-Safe Mode or after a failure (e.g. WD failure, VCC1 under voltage) an intermediate mode is reached, and once the failure condition is not present anymore the device will automatically change to SBC Normal Mode after a delay time (tRD1 or tRD2).
From your specification point of view, the transition delay are well below the 50ms worst case scenario.
