I am experimenting with the IR38063 Demo board before programming the part on my board and I have set it up the way I want and went to try and program the MTP region. I selected the config file, did the "Check MTP Left" and I get the following screen:

When I try to "Program and Verify" it give the error message:

There is no check box to the left of MFR as per AN0035 in the programmer section for MFR... It seems like I have 2 MTP area programs left. I updated the software but no difference. What am I doing wrong?

Also what is the User area? It is not described anywhere in the data sheet. The only reference I see is some commands and this programmer.

Thanks,
Dan

Hello @drudolf ,

Thank you for contributing to the Infineon community.

PowIRCenter does not have the option to program MFR/CONFG and Trim sections.

Programming of these sections usually is done at the factory and is not changed.

The configuration file needs to be loaded in the User section.

You can check the box in the user section and go ahead with your programming.

Kindly refer Programming guide for more information.

Regards,

Nishanth
