we are actually searching for something like a migration guide when we change from a TJA1145 to the TLE9255WLC.
Is there something available?

Hello,

Migration guide as such is not available but the following unique features of TLE9255WLC stands out among competitor devices.

Unique Features of TLE9255WLC over competition:
1.TLE9255W has lowest current consumption in Sleep Mode max. 26μA (typ. 15μA)
2.TLE9255W has CAN FD and Partial Networking functionality
3.TLE9255W has new ISO Wake-up pattern included
4.TLE9255W has Dual Power Supply Concept (VBAT + VCC)
5.TLE9255W has highest ESD robustness:
–ESD HBM: +/-10kV
–IEC61000-4-2: +/-10kV
6.TLE9255W is pin-compatible to devices on the market
7.TLE9255W offers robust and easy diagnostics via SPI
8.ISO 11898-2 (Edition 2016) Autonomous bus biasing included (Less EME during Start-up phase,Improved CAN signal Integrity)
9.Available in DSO-14 and tiny TSON-14

Differences over TJA1145 :

1.Max filter time of 1.8us ensures guaranteed wake-up for every possible CAN FD Frame in TLE9255W unlike TJA1145.

2.Slow Battery Ramp-up Test(GMW): TLE9255W ramps up properly unlike competition

3.No disruption of communication during VBAT cranking because TLE9255WSK internal state machine is supplied by VBAT OR VCC unlike TJA1145.

4.Undervoltage mode change feature over competition:
