i was building a circuit, referring to the ICE2HS01G Datasheet. I was wondering if  it is Necessary for CL and SRD pin connections (as per Datasheet) for the minimum operation of the IC ? 

if Yes can you please provide a circuit diagram for the same.

SR control is optional. The following measures should be taken if you want to avoid using SR operation,

a. SRD pin pull down to GND with resistor

b. CL connect capacitor to GND

c. open connection for SHG and SLG.

i will check that and report back.

I am sharing the circuit diagram, in that diagram the pins which are used for secondary side switching was open condition. But one time I  checked with this SRD pin pulled down to ground  and this case also observation was same.  

our test condition :

I disconnected the transformer from the circuit.

Connected the bus voltage with low potential( 5- 30V) and give required voltage for Vins Pin.

I measured the signal at transformer connecting point , the controller circuit was working fine.

But the bus voltage increased to above 30 volt the signal was suddenly stopped from the driver.

this was the observation noticed.

whether  it is possible to run with any constant feedback signal given manually. 

 

Also could you please check my circuit for any other possible points of error.

Hi @Capt_N3mo ,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Since you disconnected the transformer and provided the required voltage for the VINS pin, IC should work independently of input voltage change. It is equivalent as it is running with constant feedback signal

I have gone through schematic,

Controller section looks fine (Except CL and SRD, remaining connections).

Kindly check the following connection in board (in schematic nodes are not connected)

R146 to SS pin

R147 to Load and R151

R149 to GND

And some values need to be tuned.
