I am trying evaluate and select a multiphase controller, but the information in the datasheet product briefs are insufficient.

How do I get a detailed datasheet for the following parts?

XDPE12254C-0000

IR3570B

IR3584

The first part is listed as "active and preferred", but I can't find any stock this part.

The other two parts are listed only as "active", but I can find stock for them.  Should I be concerned that they are listed as "active and preferred"?

Thanks,

Todd

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response.

IR3564 is a discontinued product, I will suggest you go with IR3584. It can be easily purchased from this Link .
IR3584 and IR3564 are hard to  differentiate, mentioning some key differences:
1. IR3564 s AMD® SVI1 & SVI2 with dual OCP and Intel® VR12 & VR12.5 and IR3584 supports Intel®VR12, VR12.5.
2. IR3564 has switching frequecny  from 200kHz to 2MHz per phase and IR3584 has switching frequency from 194KHz to 2MHz per phase in 56 steps
3. IR3564 has dual output 4+1 and 3+2 phase PWM Controllers and IR3584 has dual output 4+1 phase
PWM Controller.

Anshika

Hello,
Thank you for posting on Infineon Community.

Is there any particular information that you are looking for in the datasheet?

For the product status, as long as it's active, you don't have to worry about it. For XDPE12254C-0000, there is unexpected demand, hence longer lead time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Anshika

Specifically, I would like to identify some of the differences between the IR3584 and the IR3564.  They both appear to have a 4-phase portion and a single-phase portion, but it isn't clear how I would select one or the other for my design.  I am trying to find a 4-phase controller that would be compatible to provide the SVID controlled power rail for an Intel Agilex FPGA, so I would also like to see the PMBus register mapping to make sure that they can work together.

Thanks,

Todd
