I got this after updating a project to the latest PSoC Creator.

It is caused by Application.cyprj containing two entries with different capitalization of the names ("PSoC" vs "PSOC"), and it can't fix the capitalization difference.  Manually editing the cyprj file to make them consistent fixes it, or deleting the folder from Generated Source PSoC3 and letting it regenerate.

Yeah there were other topics about this error, but they didn't point out this was the cause.

This does seem like a bug in PSoC Creator, though.  PSoC Creator 3 was maybe case insensitive and then PSoC Creator 4 isn't?  But it can't automatically handle projects from PC3 with case differences?

JoBr,

It sounds like you found a way to fix the issue.  It's not seamless but workable.
