Hello,
I´m trying to flash an hex file into "CY8CKIT-149 PSoC" Board.
Using PSOC Creator I get the following (empty window)
:
using PSOC Programmer:
Can you please provide some hints how to solve that?
Thanks in advance.
Show LessHi,
I'm using CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT and trying to flash it with an example project. When I plug in the USB LED 2 and 4 stays solid. In device manager the device comes as "KitProg3 USB_UART (COM6)".
When I try to program the device in PSoC Creator (Debug -> Pogram), I can't see any cypress device under the Kitprog3 programmer.
Can you please advise what I'm missing here?
Thanks.
Show LessHi,

Please help me.
Show LessHelp! PSoC 4.3 IDE has started crashing for me randomly. It just exits with no warning.
In the latest crash, it corrupted my cyprj file and removed the TopDesign, and Linker scripts, etc for the project when I restarted. It was only because I had the file under revision control I was able to debug.
What are the steps to debug this crash?
Show LessI'm new to PSoC, and am having trouble talking to an external RTC chip over I2C.
I have created a Random Read Byte function for the RTC:
1 unsigned char READ_I2C(unsigned char Slave_Add,unsigned char Addr_Byte) {
2 uint32 err; // error state or status
3 unsigned char rdByte;
4 err = RTCC_I2CMasterStatus();
5 err = RTCC_I2CMasterSendStart(Slave_Add, RTCC_I2C_WRITE_XFER_MODE, 0);
6 err = RTCC_I2CMasterWriteByte(Addr_Byte, 0);
7 err = RTCC_I2CMasterSendStart(Slave_Add, RTCC_I2C_READ_XFER_MODE, 0);
8 err = RTCC_I2CMasterReadByte(RTCC_I2C_NAK_DATA, &rdByte, 0);
9 return rdByte;
10 }
This is intended to produce the following I2C sequence as given in the RTC datasheet
Looking at this on an analyzer, I see the following (which looks good up until the START of the Read).
There is indeed a Write of the CONTROL BYTE + ACK followed by the ADDRESS BYTE (0) + ACK.
Inspection of err is always 0 down to line 7. But when I try to issue a SendStart of a Read, I get a return code of 4 (RTCC_I2C_MSTR_NOT_READY).
Looking deeper, this is because the RTCC_state is not idle (it is still RTCC_I2C_FSM_MSTR_WR_DATA).
Any idea of what might be wrong?
Show LessI read/hear conflicting information on GPIO state during power up.
I read in some docs that GPIO are configed as inputs during power up.
Then in other I read that the GPIO pin tracks its Vddio supply until 1.45 V,
then takes on NVL latch settings. This tells me if a pin drives a bipolar,
which in turn drives a relay, that during power up the relay will glitch on until
NVL state is acquired. That in turn tells me do not use a bipolar because of
its Vbe threshold of ~ .7V, rather use a MOSFET because its Vth is >> 1.45 V
(typically).
I would appreciate clarification on this.

Show LessHi,
I have a PSoC6 dev kit and want to do upgradable stack OTA firmware upgrade through BLE. I have done this in psoc creator 4.2 but when I updated to 4.3, the example Bootloader_BLE_Upgradable_Stack_App0 project is not compiling. Particularly, it is removing/replacing certain files which has been modified for the upgradable stack application. In PSoC creator 4.2, it asks whether we want to replace or leave it as is and if we click on 'cancel' it works fine.
I get the following errors when I try to go ahead with those files removed
Is there a fix for this in psoc creator 4.3?
I also saw that people are using Modus Toolbox instead. I like the PSoC creator. Should we be shifting to develop with that i9n the future?
Thanks and Regards,
Vimal
Show LessDoing the following -
#define CYDEV_EE_BASE 0x40008000u // This is Creator generated
uint8 nSavedEE = 0;
I get a warning on line 420, but does not show up in warnings notice window after compile., Still stays however
when doing further code work. Warning shown below.

1) I use the board to read voltage which supply by Arduino board , but how can i see the results ?because in other programming software ( arduino ),we can see the results directly, but in this software the coding part is complete but nothing display.
2) the character lcd problem,
can`t find any tutorial(components connection problem and coding part) which related in introducing this components .
