PSoC™ Creator & Designer Forum Discussions
Hi everyone,
I mentioned it on another thread, but I though it deserved its own thread.
It would be great if there were somewhere to share components we've created. People, right now, are creating new peripherals for the PSoC, and each one makes the PSoC a more valuable microcontroller.
Please, please, can Cypress set up some place for people to upload their own components. Perhaps even a forum here would be appropriate. That way, people can comment on the components, and ask for help.
Many thanks

Show LessService Pack 1 is available now (May 2011). This is a complete product release that fixes a number of defects in 1.0 Production and adds support for more sophisticated and reliable bootloading. With SP1 you can select bootloader channels at run-time giving you the flexibility to create powerful new bootloading strategies. Plus, you can apply a CRC data integrity check to the downloaded data to make sure the new image arrives safely.
It is available on both PSoC Creator website: www.cypress.com/go/psoccreator, and the PSoC Creator upgrade mananger.
Show LessHi
I am very new to this PSoc Platform. My doubt "is it possible to design a Triangular waveform generator using VDAC without LUT and DMA? If it so how? And how it is possible to generate a negative voltage using VDAC? If anyone know, please tell me that will help me out to finish my project. Thanks in advance.

It looks that Designer has the appropriate user modules for the device present in the development board, since I can create a project from scratch and select the proper device and the CSR user module that it needs to use the CapSense features.
But I really would like to be able to open the example projects to study them and use as a learning help. Any help will be welcome. Thanks. Show Less
I've tried installing PSoC Designer 5.1 SP 1.1 and it gets stuck at this point for hours until I give up and cancel. I have done a complete uninstall of PSoC Designer 5.0 and of the aborted 5.1 install, restarted, and still no luck.
The box is running Windows Vista Business x64.
Anybody else had trouble installing this version? Perhaps I should give up and go back to 5.0?
Show LessHey
Is there some way to perform a limited build? For example, sometimes I just want all the generated source and APIs to be updated. At others I only want the arm code compilation step. This could save a lot of time since each of these steps is rather time consuming....

Show LessHi guys,
Something which I have wished for a couple of times is a logic function which converts an edge into a pulse.
This block could be very simple, taking one input (the edges) and one clock, which defines the length of the output pulse.
When the block sees an edge (can be configured to detect rising, falling or either), it outputs a pulse which lasts as long as one clock cycle.
Many thanks

Show LessIn one of my CapSense Project , I used a CY8C21534-24PVXI. I found there was a function conflict about the P1[1] of CY8C21534-24PVXI:
In the Datasheet of this chip, P1[1] is described as a pin of ISSP-SCLK, but in PSoC Designer 5.0 software, P1[1] is the only feedback resistor pin available.
How can I deel with this conflict?
Thank you for your help.
