PSoC™ Creator & Designer Forum Discussions
I got an illegal macro name in PSoCGPIOINT.h Generated by PSoC Designer 5.1.2101.0
As this file is generated by Designer, I can't modify it, it is rewritten on every build.
I use standard Imagecraft compiler.
Any Idea to fix this ?
Thanks
Show LessI can set bookmarks with CTRL K K, or do a Find and set bookmarks to all result lines, but how do you use the bookmark? I am sure that I am missing something simple.
Thanks

Afterwards I experienced problems with latest PD(5.1SP1)
When I startup projects the main projects screen is blank.
Also when I try to created new project when comes to part choise screen the window is empty ( only upper scrollbar)
What could be the reason?
I've once seen info from PD that IE canot open page from the disk location.
Is this a reason?

Show LessReading the data sheet for the USBFS component suggests that the PSoC Creator will eventually have a feature for supplying the USB device serial number with a "Silicon Generated Serial Number." I understand from the PSoC Creator errata that this feature is not yet implemented.
Does that mean that the PSoC hardware includes some sort of read-only unique-per-chip serial number? If so, could you briefly describe how to access it? I have need of such a serial number and was considering adding another chip to my design which functions as a silicon serial number (a DS2401), but obviously I would prefer not to do that if there is already such a number available somewhere.
A quick search of the PSoC 3/5 Registers TRM (for the word "serial") didn't turn up anything, but it's an 1800 page document.

I am pleased to announce that starting this week, the Cypress Applications Engineering team will host live, instructor-led, weekly webinars on different PSoC topics! These webinars are free to all of our customers.
We will initially host them at 9:00am (Pacific Time) on Thursdays. Our first one will be this Thursday, May 19th. We will add additional time slots to support different parts of the world.
All webinars will be hosted via WebEx. You can access the webinar from this link. In case anyone has problems with the link, they can always access the meeting by going to http://cypress.webex.com and entering meeting number 498 741 435.
For this week's topic, we will give an overview-level description of the PSoC 3 & PSoC 5 bootloader system, as implemented by PSoC Creator. We'll cover the architecture, how it works, and major features. Then we'll follow up by building a simple demonstration project for the I2C bootloader.
I look forward to seeing you there!

Show LessHi everyone,
I mentioned it on another thread, but I though it deserved its own thread.
It would be great if there were somewhere to share components we've created. People, right now, are creating new peripherals for the PSoC, and each one makes the PSoC a more valuable microcontroller.
Please, please, can Cypress set up some place for people to upload their own components. Perhaps even a forum here would be appropriate. That way, people can comment on the components, and ask for help.
Many thanks
Hugo Elias
