Build this into Designer as a tool, takes 2 R's and user has a
level translator w/o using a PGA and/or a fixed reference to do it.
Do not just incorporate the attached, build it into the IDE, and select
from standard R 1% values and compute worst case.

Show LessSome comments about the LCD displays Cypress ships with DVK -
1) They are puke green, there are several high contrast displays, like white on blue that are equally cheap
and intrinsically easier to read.
2) No backlght, no reason these days not to have a LED B/L, adds pennies to cost of display. Right now,
all the kits I have, I use a separate HID light I shine on board/LCD so I can see the display. Otherwise
in moderate room lighting they are very difficult to read. You would have to make notes to users regarding
impact on current drain in kit.
3) Display viewing angles poor, the technology has moved on in this area. I am sure you can get one
with wider viewing angles.
3) Offer a store item for 4 x 20, some other common form factors. Also OLED plug compatible
solution.

Show LessThis is a bit off-topic, but the amount of double posts (with identical time-stamps) is a bit annoying! I already wrote some (!) emails to the site-admins (yes, I got a response back) but: nothing happens.
I am not the only one begging for an edit/delete feature of our own posts!
I am not the only one having troubles with this editor (using smileys hangs the editor, pasting text mis-orders the text, etc).
And I'm sure there are some other guys having problems here as well.

Show LessThere is still an error in PSoC Designer 5.2
csprintf(Buffer,"%8.3f",FloatNumber)
returns part of the second argument ("8.3f") instead of the converted number.

Show LessI would like to see more options in the device selector.
Especially, I would like to be able to filter results on the availability of Fixed Dunction Blocks, such as USB. So for example I could just see all the PSoC3 devices which have USB ability. (Or any of the other fixed function blocks, like I2C, I2S etc).
Show LessApparently the LED module refers to the need for the user to
use Shadow Registers, but datasheet does not convey the module
takes care of this for the user. Eg,. user does not have to place
a separate Shadow Register module to use the LED Module.
