Hello,

I am working on Legacy Code of the organization.

Code was compiled using : PSoC Creator 1.0 Service Pack 2. For some important tasks in the organisation I need to re-compile the code using the same IDE version. Though I searched your website, didn't get this IDE version even in Archive.

Please do help me here at your earliest

Hello @radhika ,

PSoC Creator 1.0 version has been removed from the archive page.
We would update here regarding the accessibility of PSoC Creator 1.0 version at the earliest.

Nikhil

Hello @radhika ,

We do not offer PSoC Creator versions below v2.1.
You may proceed ahead to work on the oldest version of PSoC Creator available and check if it works for you, as most versions are forward compatible.

Nikhil

Hello Nikhil,

The old compile version has device revision as Production type. But if I try to compile the same code keeping the device revision as Production, I am getting error.

My device is CY8C3866AXI-040. Please guide me to resolve or workaround for this issue.

Regards.

Hello @radhika ,

Can you try updating the project by heading to Project -> Update components?

Hello @nikhil, @ncbs ,

I have tried updating components.

I am keen to know workaround for device revision , if I choose device revision as Production/ES3...the code doesnt compile and throws assembler error as Forward reference not allowed.  But if I select device revision as ES2, it compiles. But I want work around/resolution for device revision as Production, which will after compilation match the binary image.

Regards,

Radhika

Hello @ncbs

I need  PSoC Creator v1.0 SP2 to compile the code for the acquired product. Thus, one of the important task for the  acquired product  management is to compile the code and match the existing binary with the compiled one.

I have tried with the various PSoC IDE versions, but was not able to get the binary matching the previous one.

Is there any process in Cypress to get the  old versions of PSoC creator .
