 Hi folks,

(PSoC and Creator newb here...)

I have one of thoise little PSoC 4 4200 based boards. (Not sure what the official name is.) I have built my first example project and am trying to flash it to the device. When I click the "Program" button I get a "Select Debug Targer" popup with the message "Port Acquire Failed."

Digging into Windows Device Manager I see two USB Serial devices. The first is "USB-Serial (Single Channel) Vendor MFG" and the second is simply "USB-Serial Adapter." Both are Cypress.

For "USB-Serial (Single Channel) Vendor MFG" when I drill down and look at events, the Information window shows:

Device USB\VID_04B4&PID_0002&MI_02\6&ab146f9&0&0002 was configured.

Driver Name: oem62.inf

Class Guid: {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}

Driver Date: 08/21/2014

Driver Version: 1.2.3.10

Driver Provider: Cypress

Driver Section: CyUsb3.NTamd64

Driver Rank: 0xFF0001

Matching Device Id: USB\VID_04B4&PID_0002&MI_02

Outranked Drivers:

Device Updated: false

The  "USB-Serial Adapter" shows

Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service CypressSerial for Device Instance ID USB\VID_04B4&PID_0002&MI_00\6&AB146F9&0&0000 with the following status: 0.

Any hope to get this working? (It also doesn't work on Win 10 preview running in a Virtualbox VM on Linux but I'm not even going to think about that until I get it working on Win 8.1)

Or do I have to run it on an ancient laptop running XP. 😮

    Thanks for your help.
