Whenever I try to answer a post, the forum refuses to post my answer.  I can only start discussions, not participate in them.  Why?

Yes when you try to reply directly from the discussions section of a space, the interface is as you mentioned. There will be a post button. Once you press post, I do see the red slashed line and then immediately the reply is posted. However, since you say that it isn't getting posted, please click on the title of the thread to view its contents entirely as shown below:

Now click on reply:

Post your contents and then click Add Reply:

Let me know if this works for you.

Can you please shed more light on your issue with some screenshots maybe. Each forum post will have a "Reply" button which you can click to participate in the discussion. After you type in your answer, click on "Add Reply" to post the answer. Is this disabled for you?

You can message me your reply, in case you aren't able to reply on this too.

For me there is no "reply" button, there is instead a "comment" link. Nor

do I see an "add reply" button, but instead I see a "Post" button. When I

press the "Post" button, I get a cursor with a diagonal red slash, and the

reply is never posted.
