Hi,
I would try
1-1 download and install the newest PSoC Programmer and update the firmware of KitProg
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/psoc-programmer-archive
1-2 From Window's Device Manager, uninstall the driver for the kit and disconnect and re-connect the USB cable.

Hello.
Make sure the USB cable is a data cable and not a charging cable. Charger cables don't have data wires.
Also, what is Kitprog LED status?
If it is "breathing", Kitprog is in Mass Storage mode, not Kitprog mode.
Press and release SW1 for more than 5 seconds to re-enumerate the KitProg in the alternate configuration, that is, Mass Storage\CMSIS-DAP mode to KitProg mode.
You can check the KIT-042-BLE Pioneer Guide appendix for other Kitprog LED Status indications (LED off, fast blink, slow blink, etc).
