ModusToolBox development IDE  has a good future and it is easier to learn for PSoC 6 MCUs.

Please refer to ModusToolbox™ Introduction to know more.

You can even go through the ModusToolBox video training.
We have training specifically with PSoC 6 itself.

For example, a few are as below:

Please install the latest version of ModusToolBox IDE from the  ModusToolBox-software Infineon website. you can even refer to ModusToolbox3.0 Installation Guide for support while installing this software.
Also, you can go through our Getting started document to get started with this IDE.
