I used the device of CY8C5868LTI-LPO39 for the first time. But after I had downloaded the sample code from the wedsite,I found that the model was not compatible with the one I used and I was not allowed to change it.Besides,my computer can't recognize the USB port and the project can't be programmed.I want to know how to solve those problems. thank you for your help!!!
Show LessHi All...
I got new Psoc 6 BLE pioneer Kit ...and i want to know how to start BLE 5 custom profile for communicate with an BLE Dongle and i wanted to Send/Read a custom characteristics form both the Ble device. as show in below Document
Show LessHello,
I read PSoC 6 TRM and Programming manual for DEAD_ACESS_RESTRICT0/1 of eFuse register, but I cannot find the detail explanation.
I think we can decide the device behavior in DEAD mode by setting both.
Please let me know the detail.
Best regards,
Show LessHello,
Can we make secure access from CM4 in PSoC 6?
Best regards,
Hi,
Does anyone have an example project for bonding with PSoC 6 BLE?
I am using unauthenticated pairing with encryption. After receiving the CY_BLE_EVT_GAP_AUTH_COMPLETE event, I store bonding data to flash. This seems to work, but if I turn off BT on my phone and then on again, my device disappears from the paired device list.
What am I missing?
Show LessHello,
There are 5 bus masters in PSoC 6. I can understood CM4, CM0+, CRYPTO and TC are bus master.
However, I can not understand DW0 and DW1 is what part of DMA.
Basically, DMA has 32 channel but DMA physically integrated only one in PSoC 6.
What of DMA is assigned to DW0 and DW1?

Show LessHello,
When we use cryptographic for encryption of user FW, how should we do for generating the encrypted FW with Creator?
I read the below application note, but I could not find.

Show LessThis is probably a very simple/dumb question, but I'm new with Cypress technology, and after trying in different ways, I can't make any of my projects to use a UART module to report the status of the execution.
The project is compiled and transferred without any problem to my PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer kit, but for some reason, I can't open the serial port with the terminal app (I'm using putty). I even tried with one of the samples (UART_Low_Level_DMA) without any luck. When opening in putty, it reports this error:
I've confirmed with the device manager, the port (in my case COM12) and tried with other different ports and configurations with a similar result. This is how I'm doing my test:
1. With PSoC Creator 4.2 compile and upload the program to my pioneer kit
2. After closing Creator, I open putty and select the port and the parameters (115200, 8,N,1,N)
I'm using W10 64 bits and confirmed that putty can open other serial ports (i.e., a simple Arduino board connected). Thanks for your feedback.
Show LessHi, I am new to PSoC devices and have am trying to make a embedded data logging system using the PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit. However I am having trouble finding libraries and/or code examples for writing to SD cards. The emFile component seems like the perfect solution but is not supported on PSoC 6. I would be eternally grateful if someone could help.
Thanks,
Matt
