PSoC™ 6 Forum Discussions
Hello,
I have setup a PSOC6 project using CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT as my device. I have configured a digital PIN and assigned P0_3 to it. P0_3 maps to RED LED in RGB from schematics. I am able to blink the LED when used in for loop but not outside of it.
In main_cm4.c,
The following is working:
int main(void)
{
for(;;)
{
Cy_GPIO_Write(LED_R_PORT, LED_R_NUM, 1);
CyDelay(500);
Cy_GPIO_Write(LED_R_PORT, LED_R_NUM, 0);
CyDelay(500);
}
}
But this is not turning the LED on.
int main(void)
{
Cy_GPIO_Write(LED_R_PORT, LED_R_NUM, 1);
for(;;)
{
}
}
Why?
The GPIO is configured as Digital output with no hardware connection. The initial drive state is low.
Thanks

Show LessWith the PSoC5LP, you can use the USB port pins (plus /Reset) to program the flash using the SWD protocol. I cannot find any definitive material that gives clarity on this wrt. the PSoC6.
I use this feature in most of my PS0C5LP designs and would like to continue doing so on my PSoC6 designs.
Does the PSoC6 support this feature?

Chris

Thanks for your interest in PSoC 6 and your suggestions for PSoC 6 Prototyping Kit.
1. Yes, we do have plans to bring out a prototyping kit, similar to CY8CKIT-059, but it's not planned till later part of this year. Regarding the CapSense breakout boards, do you have any preference on what kind of sensors you prefer on the board?
2. Yes, we are evaluating the support of C++ in our development platform. We'll announce when we have more details to be shared on this topic.
Thanks,

Show LessHi
My customer wants to evaluate the power consumption of PSOC6 for their wearable design. HOw can i do it using the CYkit-062, including Sample Code and hardware modification?
Thanks

Show LessI am trying to connect, pair and bond my device (PSoC 6 using Just Works pairing) with an Android phone. It works at first, but if I disconnect and reconnect, when I try to access a characteristic that requires encryption, I get unpaired and disconnected. I am not sure why.
From what I understand, Android phones use resolvable random addresses. I am not sure how I am supposed to handle this.
It is also unclear to me how to handle the various security keys. Which keys should I generate and exchange?
Where does Link Layer Privacy fit in all of this?
Can somebody help me with this?
Show LessI have a requirement to sleep and wake using a CapSense button. Is this possible? When pressed the only thing that can be running (almost everything is in sleep mode) is the CapSense button to wake.
Show LessWhat is the part number and where can I get the proximity sensor on the PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer kit? It doesn't show in the BOM. The location designator is J13 and it is a two pin device. I wish to use it in a design. Thanks.
Show LessHello,
my update manager suddenly started reporting: "There are no Cypress Product installed. Cypress Update Manager will exit now."
But I have several products installed on my computer.
How can I repair or reinstall it?
