Anyone know the USB pin numbers for the 116-BGA? Can't seem to find them in the datasheet. the "Hardware Design Considerations" document references pins on port 14 but there is no port 14 on the 116-BGA package.Show Less
The preliminary datasheet says port 1 pins are overvoltage tolerant. Where can I find the spec for the overvoltage pins?Show Less
I checked release note from the IAR website. The latest IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm version 8.20.1 does't support PSoC 6 family.Show Less
Hello, I was following Alan's Webinar and got as far as loading MyFirstProject and clicking the Program icon. The error message was 'Port Acquire Failed'. I tried the existing project from the web site 'MyFirstDesign' but still the same error. I did the usual of power reset and checking the cable. There was nothing else running. Any ideas? I was just wondering if PSOC6 will have a CAN controller available? I'm targeting PSOC6 for a design but I need CAN.Show Less
What can be the possible reason for two different results from TCPWM in PSoC6 and PWM in PSoC 5LP? The desired output from PWM running on PSoC5 is correct but using the same configuration for TCPWM on PSoC6 gives the incorrect output.
PWM in PSoC5LP
TCPWM in PSoC6
I'm reaching out the community in hope someone can help me under stand this error I receive when a UDB symbol is created. I get setup I followed the tutorial on UDB editor guide. The terminals seem to exist in the schematic and there were no other steps taken after generating the symbol to configure the terminals, therefore I am lost and have no idea how to get past this error. Here is a screenshot:
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!
I recently purchased the CY8CKIT-062-BLE kit from Mouser. I connect the kit to my notebook using the supplied USB cable. The red and orange LEDs light up solid. The E-Ink display gives instructions about "PSoC 6 BLE UI Instructions". After 20 seconds or so, orange LED turns off. Red LED remains on in a dim state.
I built the first project to blink the LED using the hardware mode (following the video by Alan Hawse). The project builds successfully. The Red LED turns off. When I try to debug the project, I get an error:
PSoc Creator Warning dbg.M0039
There was an error running port acquire: Failed to Acquire Device.
If I check my Device Manager Settings, the cypress kit enumerates as "KitProg2 USB-UART (COM3).
If I check the driver details I get:
Driver version 126.96.36.199, dated 7/19/2009.
If I try to update the driver, it tells me the latest driver is already installed.
Any ideas on how I can get this working?
