PSoC™ 6 Forum Discussions
Hi All,
I am using PSoC 62 WiFi-BT Kit to read data from a sensor, store the data into a file, and upload the data file to an HTTP server (so users can download it to their computers).
I have done the sensor part, and I also know that Modus Toolbox has an 'emFile' example and 'AnyCloud HTTP' example for PSoC 6. My questions are:
1. I didn't see the SD card interface on the PSoC 6 side, but the 'emFile' example does provide me with the option to store the file into an SD card. Could you please give an example of how to store a file into an SD card? If not, could I access the file in the internal NOR flash?
2. The 'AnyCloud' example is using the 'HTTP Server' library, but it only gives three methods, GET, PUT, POST. Does it have any method to refresh the web page dynamically? I mean that could it refresh some numbers automatically on the web page which I want?
3. I may need to implement some nice visual representation on the web page. For example, real-time refresh bar plot. However, this is supported by some external sources based on Python and JavaScript. Is it possible to implement such functions in Modus Toolbox?
4. If these functions are too difficult to realize. Could you please give me some examples of Cloud Services which can do such things, I mean build a file for data, dynamic refresh, and figures plot?
Thank you so much for your patience and help!
Best regards,
Hank
Show LessHello,
1.Warnings as follow:
../CODE/libs/mtb-pdl-cat1/latest-v2.X/cmsis/include/core_cm4.h:1775:22: warning: '__NVIC_ClearPendingIRQ' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]
2.Problem description:
After the first compilation of the project, there will be more than 30,000 warning messages as shown above, and after the second compilation, the warning messages will become 0. Looking at the file where the problem is located, you will find that it is all caused by quoting the pdl library in the libs file, but there is no problem with the pdl library.
3.Question:
How to remove these warning messages that should not be displayed, and not ignore the real error and warning .
4.My own guess:
It may be caused by the wrong way or path of calling the pdl library, but the problem has not been solved.
In summary, I have been troubled by this problem for a long time. If you can help me solve this problem, I would be very grateful.
Best Wishes,
JCD
Show LessGPIO LED on my PCB on when connected to programmer debugger MiniPro4 but cant toggle RGB LED on PCB
I am new to PSOC 6 microcontrollers, I have used ST, ATmel and Microchip and ATSAM ARM processors.
I am using a CY8C6347FMI-BLD53T and have 5 pin connection for programming and debugging.
See attached for program connection, LED connection and software connected to 5 of my PCBs with programmer debugger MiniPro4,
I watched the 101 video and did the same software set up, just changed micro type and pin connection.
Project complies
Connects to my PCB, my Green LED on my PCB switches on when programming.
LED does not flash as per code
Thanks

Hello Everyone,
Why is cy8ckit-064s0s2-4343w not supported in Modus Toolbox but cy8ckit-064b0s2-4343w is supported?
There aren't many differences between the two boards based on first-hand analysis the specifications provided on the website.
Can I use cy8ckit-064b0s2-4343w to configure and develop projects (in Modus Toolbox) for S0S2 board?
Any insights on this will be helpful 🙂

Show LessWe are currently working on utilizing both cores of the PSoC 6 (we have only been using the M4 till now). We are planning on running everything on the M0+ aside from some functions that are more complex and take longer to run.
Currently everything is running on the M0+ and it skips over the more complex tasks so the M4 is just sleeping. There are 2 rows that we write to but only one of them seems to work when executed from the M0+.
Is there a reason why writing to a row of flash would cause the device to crash when executed on the M0+ instead of the M4?
Any help would be appreciated.
Show LessHi Sir,
客户目前在找不用添加外部时钟的MCU,也可以正常工作,请问PSOC4或者PSOC62,若是在PCB设计得时候,没有添加外部晶振的情况下,也可以正常工作吗?谢谢

I want to use the TFT display and I2C sensors (e.g. BME280) to show the values. When the display is plugged in, the pins are assigned. How can you connect sensors and where do I get the voltage from? All pins are covered. Note: I used to work with the Arduino.
thanks to all
Show LessI use PSoC® 6 WiFi-BT Pioneer Kit (CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT), and IDE is ModusToolbox.
I want to use mbedtls and tcp, to develope a program using https client. Where can I find a runnable demo which have the similar featuure.
I have tried "Add Application" in ModusToolbox, but only find "AnyCloud_TCP_Client" and "AnyCloud_HTTPS_Server" demo. "AnyCloud_TCP_Client" just use tcp to connect a server without using mbedtls, and "AnyCloud_HTTPS_Server" don't have a sample code using connect interface with mbedtls.
I alse tried using "Library Manager" to add "HTTP-Client" library, but that demo can not be compiled correct, because of lack of "core_http_client.h" header file.
thanks a lot.
Show LessThis issue is with reference to mtb example psoc6 smartio sgpio target.
The SmartIO configurator does not carry the configuration applied to SmartIO during runtime. Can the run time configuration be updated, so that I need not decode the code in sgpio_target.c to understand and verify the SmartIO?
