Hello,

    Question：How to configure the map file generated by modus toolbox so that it can display the size of ROM/RAM occupied by each file? 

    Current state ：Display the address and size of each function of each file. 

    I would be very grateful if you can help me solve this problem .

The company is testing and checking the arriving CY8C4245LQI-483, these devices are in x-ray inspection and found to have different internal, in the tar road test, the surface can be erased off the trace, two different batches compared to the tar road test can also be erased off, please see the pictures. When these devices are in production, are the package surfaces protected from acetone or potion wiping?

I have an Arduino uno as a master, sending data via I2C to a PSoC 6 slave board CY8CKIT-062S2-43012.

I'm using modustoolbox with freeRTOS. See attached code.

Everything works fine while in DEBUGGING MODE. Basically every time the uno sends data to the  PSoC 6. the data buffer is put as a message in a queue and then another task will take those messages and process them .

But when I flash and run the program again. It just doesn't work. 

I read from some posts that it is because in debug mode the deep sleep is disabled. So I added a callback for deep sleep but still doesn't work. 

then I changed the parameter configUSE_TICKLESS_IDLE in the freeRTOS config file to 0 and that solved the problem. 

What does it mean to have the tickless parameter to zero (0) ? it means that now my app doesn't have power save mode?

Is this the right way to do it? or maybe use HAL to just modify the I2C interrupt to wake up from deepsleep, which I tried but it didn't work?

I have to develop a metering relay that requires implementation of two functions i)math computations and ii)oscillograph, metering and display

I was thinking about PSOC6 and utilize the dual core each dedicated for the respective functions as stated above.

Unfortunately, I require simultaneous sampling of analog signals( 8 channels). So I have to use external ADCs

Advice is required if the above scheme proposed is correct? IN addition I require, ethernet and modbus connectivity to the external world and require remote wireless programming of the module.

I do not want to build any hardware module. Please suggest the development kit applicable in this connection. Also suggest if there are any app notes that assist in developing oscillograph function (with pretrigger and post trigger capability) with sampling rate of 5KHz

I would like to get some help and guidance on how  to send a string message (characters array) via UART from an Arduino UNO to a PSCO 6 CY8CKIT-062S2-43012.

I'm using ModusToolbox 2.3 on macOS 10.15.7

For testing on PSoC 6, I'm using the basic Hello World example provided by Cypress and I add the code and libraries from there 

The arduino code is pretty simple and I have already tested on an arduino to arduino UART communication. this is a dummy code example here:

But I have limited knowledge on how to configure the pins on the PSOC 6 and use the HAL.  I'm totally new to hardware configuration

I use printf for debugging  which I configure with retarget on the ports defined by the BSP for UART debugging

But as I see from the documentation, those pins are also assigned to the arduino header pins for UART TX RX

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I assume that I need to free those arduino pins from the serial terminal debugging in order to use them for incoming UART communication from the arduino

Question 1:  How can I change the retarget i/o pins so I can still do printf to serial terminal for debugging?

I found this article that suggest to change the pins on the init function (cy_retarget_io_init( P6_1, P6_0, 9600 );)  but it  didn't work and I cannot print info on the serial terminal for debugging.  I also tried this  but doesn't match the code structure in PSoC 6 with modustoolbox

Question 2: Where can I find an easy to use example code to receive UART data on the PSOC 6?

I found an article here, but it doesn't provide information on how to keep debugging with printf while receiving data via UART in the PSOC.  I want at least to print the data on serial terminal when it arrives to the  PSoC.

All the examples for the board are for UART TX and RX to a serial terminal. 

I also read this and  this  but those post are quite old and don't offer any details to solve my issue

Also in the SCB documentation the examples use the pins that my PSoC board is using for UART serial term debugging

I can see some of the example projects on github splitting up the BLE stack on the CM0 vs CM4 (controller vs host stack).

Are there any general recommendations for single vs dual core when runnign an application needing ~50-60% CPU cycles + managing basic bluetooth LE connections in parallel!?

To be specific, I need to do continious scan + advertise + one peripheral connection. Not sure what the footprint is (ram/flash vs cpu time) doing something like above..!? 2 cores is of course better than one, but curious to learn a bit more about the limitations.

Hello developers,

I m newbie to cypress. I m trying to run the hello world program in cypress PSOC 6 MCU.  Hello world build and flash successfully and i can see the output in board ( led is blinking ) but  I m not  able to see the console log.

Is there any extra command to check ? and can you give reference of any document from where I can start from starting( setup and all.)

I am looking to purchase several PSOC6 WIFI/BT Kits, however, my colleague mentioned that I should look for version/revision D or after.  How can I tell on the Cypress website which version I will get?
