Hi,
We are using the PSOC 6 - CY8C63x7 Architecture.
We found on it's technical reference manual an possible option to switch on and off the JTAG(DAP) connection.
It can be found on page 136 -
"The second bit, CPUSS_AP_CTL.xxx_ENABLE, is a regular
read/write bit. This bit also resets to zero and is set to ‘1’ by
either the ROM boot code or the flash boot code depending
on the life-cycle stage. This feature can be used to block
debug access during normal operation, but re-enable some
debug access after a successful authentication"
1. Is this feature really possible?
2. Is it enabled/disabled only from the bootloader?
3. Is there an option to enable/disable JTAG connection from the user application space?
Appreciate your help!

Hello to all,
I have build a project but there are some warnings & notes.
I want to revise the following warnings:
1、left shift count >= width of type [-Wshift-count-overflow]
2、listing the stack pointer register 'sp' in a clobber list is deprecated [-Wdeprecated]
Can you please help me to get rid of this warning?
Best Wishes,
JCD

I would like to know where can I find psoc 6 modustoolbox examples to use the analog microphone in the board CY8CKIT-028-sense.
I see from the the board documentation that it includes several microphones. two digital and one analog.
I'm interest in processing data from the analog microphone (Vesper VM1010) using a CY8CKIT-062S2-43012. Particularly in capturing sound signal level after the VM1010 has triggered the interrupt signal. Or is the VM1010 meant to be only as a sound trigger on the board to activate the digital to microphones capture the audio?
Apart from he machine learning example in the documentation, do you have any other modustoolbox example that uses this board ?
The board's github repo has a broken link to the Audio codec usage
thanks

Hi
I found several code examples for blocking and unblocking writes to the flash.
In case I switch off and on the PSoC-6, how can retrieve the user data from the flash ?
I cannot find the function to read from flash and i am not sure how to keep track of the address in flash.
thanks
Show LessHi all,
I am trying to include mbedtls library for my project in MTB. I am facing the below error when I build the project.
Replacing true to 1 or making the declaration const is leading to more number of unrelated errors. I am not sure how to fix this problem. Is mbedtls not a supported library for this project or board?
If yes then how do I go about solving this issue?
I have attached the error log of the console.
Device used: CY8CKIT-064S0S2-4343W
Project: AnyCloud_BLE_CTS_Server - First release version (GitHub - Infineon/mtb-example-anycloud-ble-cts-server: This code example demonstrates the implementation of a simple BLE GAP Central - GATT Server with Current Time Service using the Cypress Combo (Wi-Fi+BT) SoCs.)
Any sort of help will be greatly appreciated 🙂
Thanks and Regards,

Show LessI am working on a project and trying to interface the CY8CPROTO-063-BLE board with an external I2C CapSense buttons and slider. Should I use the built in CapSense module, or just I2C? Attached below is the module I am attempting to interface with.

Show LessBluetooth connection to the Raspberry Pi
I am using a CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT with ModusToolbox and would like to transfer measurement data to the Raspberry pi.
The possibility from one KIT to another would not be bad either.
I can't find any suitable examples.
AnyCloud BLE Environmental Sending Service is very comprehensive and you cannot see how CySmart accepts the data. 2 bytes are transferred and then?
Must WICED modules still be used in the programs. I would like to use only "ModusToolbox" and its components.
Can one show me examples for the transfer of floating point values via BLE.
thanks
Show LessHi Team,
We are designing a board using the MCU CY8C6247FTI-D52T.
1 x UART = SCB7, TX - P1[0], RX - P1[1]
2 x I2C = SCB5, SCL - P5[0], SDA - P5[1]
SCB8, SCL - P6[0], SDA - P6[1]
16 x GPIO
3 x Analog Read = P10[1], P10[4], P10[5]
1 x Analog Write = P10[0]
are used.
SWD is the debugging interface. -
SWDIO - P6[6]
SWCLK - P6[7]
XRES
SWO - P6[4]
32KHz RTC OScillator - P0[0], P0[1]
High-speed oscillator - P12[6], P12[7]
The schematic is attached herewith.
Please let me know if there are any mistakes.

Hello,
I am trying to understand my possibilities regarding purchasing a company id for my BLE devices.
When I look at resources on this site, all of them say I can purchase the company id either from Bluetooth SIG or from IEEE.
However, the company identifier provided by Bluetooth SIG is only 2 bytes, so I don't understand how can I use one purchased from Bluetooth SIG as my company id in the device.
I saw that the value set by default (00A050) is Cypress' IEEE address, not the Bluetooth SIG address. I could not find any reference to the company identifier (provided by Bluetooth SIG) of Cypress (0x0131) in the code.
Is it possible to use the company identifier provided by Bluetooth SIG? If so, how can I obtain the value for the third byte of the address?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
With Kind Regards,
Omri
