Hi all,

I would like to use emWin library in our product design based on PSoC 6. Currently we are developing the prototype version.

Hence, I would like to know specifically the licensing of -

  1. emWin Graphical Library ( I have read that it can be used on PSoC devices for free , can anybody pls confirm ?)
  2. AppWizard - PC tool for creating the GUI.
  3. Bitmap Converter and other tools.

regards,

Vinu

Vinu,

My understanding is that the emWin library provided by Infineon is available for incorporation into your code at no additional cost.  It is also my understanding that your code can be commercially produced with this library.

Note:  This library version is not the latest one available.

For the latest one, you should contact Segger @ : https://www.segger.com/about-us/contact-us/

Also the tools you mentioned are available on the Segger web site: https://www.segger.com/downloads/emwin/

It is my understanding that the tools are free to use as a developer.  If redistribution into a commercial product is needed, you need to contact Segger.
